He is in Taiwan!

Chris is in the mission field!  We talked to him on Tuesday morning, as he was about to board the plane in Salt Lake City.  He sounded nervous, and excited.  It was a short conversation - about 12 minutes.  We were so happy to hear his voice!

We received an email from the mission president last night, with a picture from the Taipai airport, so we know he made it!

 But even though he is half-way around the world, Chris was still here with us for Halloween... kinda.

 (For those of you who don't know, we have a rather large Halloween set-up in our yard each year.  This is our 'family' that has been part of our display for years.)  We dressed one of the skeletons in a suit coat, tie, and name tag. 

We are excited for this new phase of Chris' mission and look forward to hearing lots of great things about the work, and the people, and the experiences in Taiwan.
